I taste, and every flavor is your lips against mine
I smell, and every scent is yours
I think, and all I think is love
I love, and all I love is You.
Let me know what you think!

The Kite & the Rock: An Unlikely Pair
An unlikely pair. A conservative and a free spirit.
One a Rock upon the ground, the other a Kite among the clouds.
Hardly between do they meet, just barely connected by a simple thread.
One remains firm in convictions, changing slowly with the passage of time. Solid, simple, and reliable.
One changes constantly, roaming freely. Unashamed to flash its true, beautiful colors. Ever-changing, exciting, and free.
Both try to teach the other their joys to minimal effect, yet they remain so tightly bound.
They are tied together by a single, simple thread that belays not the strength in its simplicity. This simple yet enormous power that binds them is love. Love for one another and their merits, as well as caring and understanding of their faults.
The Kite relishes the freedom of the sky, yet fears being lost in the wind, desperately seeking stability.
The Rock is stable upon the solid Earth, but fears being buried and worn away, yearning for the freedom of the air.
With a simple thread they are bound by love:
The Kite teaching the Rock how to fly,
The Rock keeping the Kite from losing itself in the sky.
Cold
I curse and forsake these cold Winter nights. For the cold is deep and dark around me.
I shut all the blinds, close every curtain. But the cold still grips me, I'm certain
I gather my covers and blankets burrow beneath my sheets. But the cold still claws me in great streaks.
I stoke up the fires, feel the hot embers burn. But for a warmer place, still yearn.
I burn all that I own to feed the flames. Yet still I am of Winter's claim.
I see now that I cannot forget what I have known since the begin: This empty chill comes from within.
It bites and stings a hole too big to fill, save for my love; once in motion now lies still.
Against this icy dark burden even at snowfall's leave, Summer's light holds no reprieve.
I curse and forsake these cold Winter nights. For the cold is deep and dark within me.
